This will really show who has put in the time and may have the bragging rights of becoming a true "pro" in Critical Ops. In the months following the Qualifier, the top 4 teams from each region will face each other in epic battles for the chance to claim the first title of Critical Ops World Champions. The top 8 teams in each region that have accumulated the most points from Circuit Season 4 and 5 will be invited to a Qualifier this coming October. World Championships Was your team, or a team you were rooting for, the best in a particular region? Is that enough, or do you think they could be the best Critical Ops team in the world? This year we all get to find out. More information will be given next week as the sign ups for Circuit Season 4 starts Monday Jan 24th, 2022. This format makes it so that even if your team has a bad day, or maybe you were missing a player for a match, you still have a chance to climb back to the top without being eliminated immediately. The format of the Circuit in the first two main tournaments will be a triple elimination format for the top 16 per region.
There has been much thought and planning put into this, so we hope you are just as excited as we are for the year.Ĭircuit Season 4 and 5 From our experience in the past year, creating the production, learning from our players and viewers, Circuit remains to be one of the events we want to make sure we continue this year. This year, we are releasing a timeline of some of our plans so that you know what to expect. Timeline One of the things we have been working on is improving the transparency between us and our players. We will be opening the tournament program forms back up soon, so if you are an organizer make sure you keep an eye out! With the communication and collaboration with our current Senior Organizers, we are making changes so that existing and new organizers should have a smooth experience in the program and focus on what they do best, organize tournaments. Tournament Program Throughout the years we have been making different changes to our program, and we are happy to say that we found a good balance on how we will grow this program further throughout this year and beyond. Players on Critical Ops official ban list are the only ones that cannot play in any supported tournaments.
Just to clarify about the ban list, organizers will be following their own black list and how they run their events. Our list will be known to all affiliated organizers and players on this list will be banned from any participation until their bans are lifted. On top of that, this also includes any community tournaments that we support in our tournament program. Players that are on this list will be banned from playing in any official Critical Ops tournaments. This year we have started a Universal Ban List. We continue to improve our anti-cheat and add different measures to ensure a fair playing environment for our players. It is unfortunate to see some players make choices to ruin other players' experience in our game.
